Spring Family Photos at Newfields
This Family is such a fun bunch! When we originally spoke together over coffee the four of us shared a lot of laughter. Alex and Elaine have a sweet love story, the kind where - when you know you know.
The two met in college like many of us and our partners, but their meet cute involves a Tutor meeting a CNA at a 21st birthday party. It started when Alex wanted to help out a high school student who was failing out of school. Alex did this for free out of the goodness of his heart. A. Heart. Of. Gold. Elaine worked with the boy who Alex had previously tutored. They both happened to be invited to his 21st birthday party. That’s where our love story blooms.
It turns out that “when you know you know” is real, at least for Alex & Elaine. The relationship actually moved quickly with the two moving in together, alongside “Q” the pair's oldest boy, who was 3 at the time. The best part of this whole story is that on top of meeting, moving in, and juggling life with a three-year-old, Alex was also in medical school.
Alex and Elaine welcomed their second boy, Atlas, a few years later. With a growing family, Alex knew it was time to start planning for the next season of their life. He planned a very early-morning proposal, which took place in Zion National Park on Christmas Eve. The two hiked to the top of the mountain, a 6508 foot elevation, which meant they had to start the hike in the stillness of the morning before the sun was up.
We are so excited to be a part of Alex and Elaine’s story, as we get to be a part of their formal party this June. The couple, together with their parents, eloped last June. Their date was perfect because it's in between their birthdays, which makes this such a big weekend of celebration in their home! They really want everyone to feel loved, valued, and celebrated during this weekend.
This year, we will be doing photos for Alex & Elaine once more with their family and friends gathered together to celebrate their birthdays, their love, and their family. It is such a sweet and heartwarming story of two people in the right place at the right time and choosing each other everyday.
