Best Friend Photo Shoot Ideas: Girls, Ghouls, & Spooky Season

Hello, Michelle here today! Something I love about my best friend is how supportive of my ideas she is.  Last year, I sent her an inspo picture of presumably two girls with sheets over their heads, fishnets, and coke bottles hoping that she and I could take photos together.  Unfortunately, Spooky Season had already come to an end.  So in late September, when Amanda (Brittany’s little sister) had her best friend Morgan come to town Brittany remembered my photoshoot dream!

Together, with the help of my sisters-by-choice, we made the fun dream a reality.  The girls were so much fun to work with and the giggles were never-ending from all five of us.  Nevermind Amanda buying a fitted sheet and trying to cut the elastic off in the car on the way to the parking garage.  So if you need ideas for spooky season, look no further than our girls, ghouls, & spooking season best friend photoshoot idea.

I love telling a story through our blogs, and this weeks’ blog is no different.  So without further ado, this is the story of Amanda and Morgan, two best friends who met in college.  They were two nursing majors who met at personal orientation during the summer of 2018 and were looking for a roommate at Ball State, but found their best friend.  When we asked these two for their stories something so sweet and special was written by both ladies.

They spent their first semester bonding over many late nights and a hatred of the same classes. When Amanda chose to leave Ball State after a semester, Morgan was so supportive of her decision.  She never once made Amanda feel less, but continued to be there for her through coffee runs, book store runs, and life.  Morgan also felt supported through the friendship in the way that Amanda just shows up for her.  Phone calls, trips, and encouragement through it all.

Their relationship is one that I believe many people long for, the one where you know you have someone in your corner no matter what happens.  The two attribute their friendship to the experience they had in a small room at Woodworth Dorm.  From their many long conversations and venting sessions about that dreaded Chemistry class, their mutual obsession with coffee, and their favorite pass-time they dub “floor time” these two built a beautiful, supportive friendship.

Morgan discussed how they were both mutually clumsy, which made me giggle as the two kept losing their sunglasses throughout this best friend photo shoot.  Between the sunglasses, helping the girls walk, and how silly these girls are, we could not stop laughing. It’s definitely worth the experience doing a photoshoot with the people you love.  We have the photos to prove it.

Morgan later met Sarah, Amanda and Brittany's other little sister, the first time she drove down from Muncie to see Amanda after she left that first semester. They clicked right away and have been close ever since, Snapchatting almost as frequently as Amanda and Morgan. Sarah and Morgan bonded as Sarah tagged along with the girls over knitting blankets, baking cookies, book store trips, and movie nights.

Morgan never could have guessed that when she started rooming with Amanda their freshman year, she would also gain a little sister she never thought she'd have. Now these girls can't imagine their lives without the sisters they've gained over the last few years, and I have to say, "I agree."

So, if you have a best friend and are looking for a way to celebrate your friendship, I think this blog post is your sign to dress up like ghosts, grab a coke, and give us a call!
